Jennifer Woolf – Counselor

Jennifer Woolf Ed.S, LPC, NCC
Counselor

Jennifer Woolf CounselorAs a counselor, Jennifer believes all people can benefit from counseling to tackle life’s challenges. With that in mind, she has a desire to continue her work with young adults, children and adolescents with a range of concerns. Depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and relational and family dynamics are just a few of the client concerns she has experience with.

Jennifer is grounded in an Existential perspective in which people are seeking meaning from their experiences. She meets clients where they are with a person-centered and non-judgmental stance, and utilizes techniques from theories including CBT, Gestalt, and most recently DBT.

Jennifer believes the number one determinant of change is the therapeutic relationship between client and counselor. She strives to provide an objective, empathetic and safe space for clients to explore what effective and positive change would look like for them and assist in helping to define what this looks like emotionally, behaviorally, and cognitively.

Jennifer has afternoon and evening availability in our Cape Girardeau office.
