Michael Singleton TherapistMike Singleton is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He has worked with youth and families in many settings and many age ranges for 15 years in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. Some areas of work that he specializes in with youth are trauma, addiction, ADHD, and grief.
 
Mike understands that there are times when children and teens don’t have the words to express who they are or what they want to say. As a therapist Mike uses an integrated approach. Using Person-centered Therapy, Child-centered Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Family System approaches are just a few. He uses a variety of interventions depending on the client’s needs. He believes that at any age a person can need someone to talk to.
 
Mike believes that families involvement is crucial to meeting therapeutic goals and believes coaching families on how to handle any situation they are going through is important.

Mike has daytime, afternoon, and evening availability in the Fenton and Farmington offices.
 
Education:
Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Missouri-Saint Louis
Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Preaching with a Minor in Youth Ministry from Saint Louis Christian College

Mike is married and has two sons. He likes comic books, collects transformers, movies, music, singing, writing, the outdoors, camping, hiking, spending time with his family, and friends.
