Counselor

Dewayne is a child and teen counselor who specializes in helping his clients dealing with anger problems and depression problems. Dewayne also works with children and teens who are struggling with life changes. Additionally, Dewayne provides family counseling to help families cope with life changes, heal from past hurts, and get to a better place.
 
Dewayne uses Solution-Focused therapy and helps his clients build upon their strengths. Dewayne provides education and skill building to help his clients develop problem-solving skills. Dewayne’s focus is to provide his clients the tools necessary to handle anything that life throws their way.
 
Dewayne has some training in Play Therapy. He is currently in training for Trauma therapy.
 
Dewayne has evening availability in our Farmington location.

Bachelors of Science in Education
Masters in Social Work from University of Missouri-Columbia
 
Certifications:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
 
Dewayne enjoys camping, boating, and playing with his grandkids. Dewayne also enjoys participating in community service activities throughout our local community.
