Chudney Cannon – Counselor

Chudney MA, CIT
Counselor

Chudney Cannon CounselorChudney is a counselor under the supervision of Tony Harris. Chudney believes that the therapeutic process can be extremely beneficial for any child, as emotionally healthy children grow up to be emotionally healthy adults. She enjoys working with children of all ages, and has extensive experience in working with Autism Spectrum Disorders and behavior management.

Chudney uses a combination of different therapeutic interventions, as there is no “one size fits all” approach. She believes that different clients have different needs, and she strives to meet those individual needs of her clients. However, she frequently uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Attachment theory in her sessions.

Chudney has over 17 years of combined experience in mental health, social services, and education. She has worked as a daycare teacher, teacher assistant, and reading tutor before becoming a counselor. She has dedicated herself to serving at-risk populations and under-served communities. Having served in collegiate and professional organizations, she is an advocate for social justice, diversity, and inclusion.

Chudney has afternoon and evening availability in our Arnold office.
