Mitchell has spent most of his career helping adolescents and children who are experiencing difficulties managing their anxiety, depression, impulse control, and substance abuse. He has also worked with adults who are experiencing these issues as well as many others.
Mitchell’s therapeutic approach is accepting, rational, strength-based, and warm with an appropriate dose of humor. He has faith in everyone and believes that people are capable of helping themselves more than they may be aware. He empowers his clients to trust themselves while improving their own skills and to develop other effective strategies for now and moving forward
Mitchell has afternoon and evening availability in our Arnold location.

Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville

Licensed Professional Counselor
Mitchell has spent many years hiking our nation’s mountains, forests, and deserts as well as listening to and playing music, writing short stories, and having wonderful times with friends and family. He says “I am always open to trying something new because I appreciate new ways to learn how to have fun.”
