Amanda specializes in counseling children and adolescents struggling with Anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), adjustment issues, and a variety of other life challenges.
.
She primarily uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help her clients identify thought and behavior patterns that are impacting their lives. She also pulls from Solution-Focused Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy to adapt her counseling sessions to meet her individual client’s needs.
She believes that children and adolescents need to feel seen and heard. So she works to make each client feel comfortable in sharing who they really are and empowering them with skills to create the life they want to have.
Amanda loves staying active, reading, and spending time with her husband, two kids, and two dogs.
Amanda works at our Arnold office and has afternoon and evening appointments available.
