Mickee Anderson, CIT
Mickee is under the supervision of Derek Stricklin. Mickee is a child counselor and teen counselor. Mickee’s passion is in working with children and teens of all ages. Mickee understands that children and teens come to counseling for a variety of reasons and she enjoys working with her clients to meet the individual challenges that each of her clients face.
Mickee predominately uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in her sessions. By using CBT, Mickee helps her clients identify thoughts and behavior patterns that are contributing to the problems her clients are facing. By changing those thoughts and behavior patterns, Mickee helps her clients move forward in happier and healthier ways.
Mickee believes in erasing the stigma of seeking counseling. Mickee believes that counseling is important–for everyone and any stage of life–regardless of how big or how small they think their problems are.
Mickee has evening availability in our Farmington office.
